I read about the reverse Flynn date from Europe about 2 decades ago. At that point it did not appear to be happening in the USA. Peak vocabulary in the USA was more or less 4 decades ago, a marker for crystalized intelligence, as distinct from fluid intelligence. The USA appears to be having a Flynn reversal as well. (LS)
